What's it?

After obtaining your visa and residence permit in Portugal, you will be able to regroup your family members, so they can legally reside at the Portuguese territory.


The process can be carried out with the family member at the Portuguese territory or in their country of origin.

For whom?

This procedure is intended for spouses, descendants and ascendants (with some criteria to be fulfilled according to the situation).

How works?

The process depends on scheduling at the Foreigners and Borders Service - SEF, and the applicant and family member have to appear on the scheduled day.
